Wrong. A parking placard is an official placard issued by a public entity to use only as per the privileges set forth in the placard and within the NYC Traffic Rules.A placard is not to be used in violation of the NYPD Patrol Guide. That means an NYPD Restricted Placard cannot be used in No Stopping/Standing zones (except No Standing Truck loading zones), fire hydrants, driveways, bike/bus lanes double parking, crosswalks, No Parking Taxi Stands and bus stops. Ut says so on the back of the placard. |
