Green Lines also had a franchise to run buses on Beach Channel Drive to keep NYCTA from operating a route there. So they must have felt there may have been a need for even three routes. In order to keep that franchise in effect they were required to operate a bus on Beach Channel Drive once a year. Utterly ridiculous. I would hate to be waiting for that bus. |
