He's referring to the fact that the current express system runs from X1 to X42 (obviously with some missing numbers), while the new system runs from SIM1 to SIM35 (again, with some missing numbers).For example, if somebody in Manhattan sees the SIM10, they might assume it runs along the route of the present-day X10, and then end up shocked when they make the turn onto Hylan Blvd to head towards the South Shore. |
