The street was very narrow so it was not possible for the driver to not block the street. The driver was not on any power trip. He and the mother who was just as guilty are equally to blame.This was in Borough Park and anyone who knows the area tries to avoid it between 3 and 5 PM and probably in the mornings as well because many streets are in total gridlock with hundreds of school buses in one neighborhood. You can stand on any corner at this time and count from four to ten school buses when you look in all four directions. I once counted 14. |
