What if Woodside was served by the Q11/21? The Q52/53 are long enough even ending at Elmhurst. Do people still take the Q53 from end to end?Overnight, however, there may be more of a need for the Q53 to be as long as it is, but that's a universal situation that longer-distance runs are preferable at night when buses are infrequent and there isn't much traffic. Also, not sure of the union / depot issues with replacing an ex-Triboro segment with an ex-GBL route. |
