I have heard that argument numerous times before. It is just not convincing. If it were everyone would not be driving faster than 25 mph.The only reason you're not convinced by it is that it gets in the way of what you want to do (drive as fast as you want). There is no reason to assume that if this were true, everybody would slow down. People drive at the speeds they do for any number of reasons, and circumspice, this is not at the top of their list. |
