It's as likely as my vote for option 2 for Washington-Western BRT on CDTA being the sole reason for them choosing that option. Has nothing to do with the fact that a large number of people also voted that way, and that while it has the highest cost of the 3 options (it was the only one with a dedicated busway) it also was the only one to project significant ridership growth as well as a comparable operating cost to the cheapest option, due to being able to run higher frequencies with shorter run times.Taking credit for common sense is reserved for the highest echelons of power, not peons! |
