IAWTP.There are some crosswalks where you can see 1-2 people waiting on the corner, so they could be just waiting there and not ready to cross. So it's OK to assume that if they don't cross quickly they won't be crossing. But there is no reasonable explanation for why a large group of people at the corner of 42nd and 8th would not be crossing the street. Thus he was wrong for not stopping at the crosswalk regardless, the intention of at least one pedestrian was abundantly clear. |
