" No. It is a DOT project. They are the lead agency. That is why the MTA site refers you to the DOT website for all reports and details. The MTA website only provides the overview."

Please tell me where to find a link from MTA to DOT because I cant find one.

" And the subject wasn't the B46 SBS. it was all SBS routes, present and future. If you wanted to know about the Woodhaven SBS, there would be no reason to click on a B46 link in the first place. Besides that B46 link was only temporary. It is not there any more."

That temporary link still works. Yes you do click the area where it says NEW July 3 B46 SBS, however every SBS item is on the left side of the page. Poor web design, maybe, but they are good for poor planning.

" So we are back to the original question "Why does DOT and the MTA not make it easy for you to learn about existing and proposed SBS websites. Why do you have to click on numerous links without SBS even being on the main MTA website? And why would someone even bother to check the DOT website unless they were already looking for SBS and knew it was there?"

Both have SBS links right on the homepage. Granted, both maked B46 but all links are on the left side of the page. Seems easy to me, how much easier do you need it because you can join the mailing list from MTA.
