"A couple minutes every day adds up, and think about this: cars aren't out there seeking out pedestrians to mow down - the pedestrians who get hit are usually breaking traffic laws (jaywalking or crossing at a red light). So because people are too stupid to look both ways before crossing the street, we need to slow down traffic?"I don't believe that is actually true. The majority of deaths appear to be from speeding cars not yielding to pedestrians with the right of way. |
