You never even looked at the initial blurb I posted or the petition because I laid out everything very clearly. The entire purpose of the plan us to increase safety. I explained why that won't happen. The inconveniencing of 5,000 people will begin when the plan takes effect because that is how many additional street crossings this plan will cause. More pedestrians crossing equals increased pedestrian vehicular conflicts and that increases dangers to pedestrians. The entire plan was created on the assumption the area is very unsafe for pedestrians and that doesn't jive with the data presented which shows two pedestrian fatalities in nine years. |
