I'd like to draw a parallel to the MBTA silver line... it is free from the airport and that includes a free transfer to the Red Line. I'm guessing they ran the numbers and determined the speed of boarding passengers was more important than collecting the fare (maybe it allows them to run the route with one fewer bus?). |
