Same with the M15 which lost or million riders in the two years before SBS, may be partially due to 2 Av construction delays which may have improved when SBS started. But the MTA was very quick to attribute the entire first year increase to SBS and used that to justify all future SBS routes in oter boroughs saying if M15 ridership increased by X amount the same will happen wherever we place an SBS route.They should have used the same disclaimer as financial analysts that past success does not guarantee future results. |
