New companies/products always welcome as long as they are better than the existing product. Remember solyndra,the solar panel manufacturer that was the darling of the Obama administration? They lobbied hard to the tune of 2 million dollars and were rewarded with a 536 million loan guarantee and 25 million in tax breaks only to go chapter 11 in no time. Your current transportation secretary Anthony Fox happened to be legal counsel for design line when the njt contract was inked. Do ya think there's no connection between the deal that was struck with these two parties and the wink and a nod given to mr fox that if things blew up he would be provided with a soft landing with a cabinet position as Transportation Secretary. The older I get the more of a pessimist I become.. |
