First, "I-878" wasn't proposed in 1947 because the Interstate Highway system wasn't established until 1956.Second, any Long Beach Expressway would not have been numbered I-878 because it would have been a spur and not a loop, and thus would have used an odd number. To my knowledge, no interstate number was planned. |
