I think you mean Washington Ave. It is indeed a quick way to travel from Fordham area down into the South Bronx. This is why I hated to see the Bx15 routed back to Third Ave (once it was converted back to two-way traffic flow). The s/b Bx55 used to make excellent time along Washington Ave. |
