That list always bothered me because they didn't consider the 1978 southern Brooklyn bs route changes important enough to be listed. Aside from the service cuts of 2010, and when about 10 Queens routes underwent some minor terminal route revisions in Jamaica, it was the largest number of bus routes to have significant changes on a siingle day.


I think you might be wrong. In 1984, nearly every Bronx bus route underwent a radical change, from the route numbers to the consolidating/eliminating of some bus routes and hours of operation. That also was never mentioned in the 1996 article.
