Posted by The Logic on Fri Feb 28 23:06:49 2014, in response to Re: B46 fare beater shoot a cop, both legs, posted by The Logic on Fri Feb 28 22:57:53 2014. ...and once so many people have those accommodations for private auto use and believe in all of these 'reasons' for private auto use, good luck trying to eliminate some of those accommodations or 'reasons,' even if it is for the benefit of the majority!Unless someone shows that a lot of situations can be reasonably de-private automobiled and enough others recognize how unnecessary and detrimental to society private automobiles are, and follow suit by reasonably de-private automobiling many of their own situations. Also I am still thinking about having streetcars replace buses in NYC; the thought is not dead yet. (Although there are many, many factors to consider.) |
