You need a dedicated fleet for it and if there's an obstruction in the way, you can't drive around it or 'leap frog' the leader. Finally, would this mean Nostrand would be exclusive for the trolley or would cars be allowed on it as well? All that and you may as well just have a true BRT with its own dedicated lanes instead of taking away the parking lanes for the rush hours. |
