Posted by Edwards! on Sat Nov 23 23:52:18 2013, in response to Op-Ed: Not sold on B44 Select Bus, posted by Gold_12th on Sat Nov 23 12:30:29 2013. decided to try the new SBS today,to visit a sick friend at Kings County today.unbelievable...the trip was pretty much uneventful,except for the reroute along tompkins avenue...and the expected long wait. the return trip was a horror show...and showed why i should have driven..even though parking is sickening. waited almost a half hour for the 44 local bus in the freezing cold,along with a dozen other riders...who were even less pleased than i. all the complaint we been hearing? true..and well founded. found out the SBS does not give out transfers to local buses,too. its a wrap for me. |
