I think they should give the route some time for the ridership to pick up. Whenever something new comes out, it takes a while for people to get used to it and see how it would fit into their commute. The same thing happened in DC a few years ago when they started their MetroExtra limited stop service. The first route, the 79, has gotten so much service that it was expanded with midday service at first and now runs on Saturdays. If they give it time like with the Bx12, M15, etc, the ridership will explode. |
