[Triboro (at the time) was probably thinking that if depot is in Queens and the bus is needed in Manhattan, may as well pick up some passengers along the way and make the route more valuable.] More than likely, Triboro simply wanted to increase its guaranteed 6% profit by increasing its operating costs. |
