[The covered busway is no longer used, and the M34 stops across the street. The M42 does not even serve Javits any more.] Using the internal roadway was useless because the Javits Center's management would always evict the MTA during special events to make room for fee-paying charter buses. (In other words, public buses were allowed in only when they weren't needed!) |
