There is still a separate MaBTOA payroll which the MTA uses create and fill positions it can't create under NYCT. For the office workers getting a MaBSTOA title, they do all MTA work, not only for MaBSTOA. Practically the only difference is that their pension is paid out of farebox revenues. The MTA still hasn't been able to solve all the legal problems for MaBSTOA to completely disappear. |
