The area is dense enough that you could almost justify having light rail run down JFK Blvd from Bayonne to Journal Square and possibly into The Heights. The problem is that some parts of the street are residential, so you can't really elevate it, and I don't think you could justify taking out a traffic lane for it (plus, you'll still need something that stops every couple of blocks for the seniors and people making short trips) |
