I agree completely about the Q12.

As for the Q30, are you sure not even some of them could go further (probably Little Neck LIRR) (and others balance the budget by ending at Springfield)? A Q12 at Little Neck LIRR by itself wouldn't do much to help Little Neck Pkwy. And I'm not sure why people getting off the LIRR there (presumably to / from Manhattan) would need a bus going back west, the way they came. Yeah the Q30 goes west too, but it would service some crucial stops on Little Neck Pkwy first. And it can even be every fourth Q30 that goes on this extension during peak hours. At least it's something. That would mean that the Q30 east of Springfield would still see 50% of its service completely unaffected and 25% of it possibly slightly affected because of the longer trip.

I like the Q36 idea too, with short-turns to balance budget.

Is there a way for the Q46 to service both Glen Oaks and Lake Success at the same time, perhaps east along Union (from Kew Gardens) then north on Little Neck, east on Horace Harding, south on Lakeville? We're getting to areas I'm not all that familiar with, but might that be feasible?
