I agree that employers shouldn't carry dead weight either, but in the case of falsifying records... I guess it's easier to get rid of the person as it's often one of those things that will get someone terminated immediately. However, in the case of someone not doing their work, you have often have to build a case for termination through progressive discipline.I said in the past and I truly believe that a huge part of the problem(s) is that there's no (or very little) accountability. If employees are consistently held accountable for their actions from the top to the bottom, it would clear up lots of problems. |
