The LFR structually is the same as the LF except the frame in the face area. The LFR is mostly just new skin. Any OLD face Low Floors coming off the production line now are buses that were ordered BEFORE December 2009. Anything ordered after December 2009 is either the Restyled, Advanced BRT or Xcelsior styles.But this information about the NYMTA is coming straight from New Flyer. So if anyone would be correct about this order it would be the people building the buses. So, me personally, I'm happy we're getting the LFR style and not the original LF style. -Trevor |
