Raises a lot of interesting questions. I had several of these guides and I remembered lots of errors, so you can't believe everything you see here. One obvious error is on the B12, the omission of Woodruff St on the B12. (Clarkson Avenue never ran to Ocean Avenue.)

I wonder what the exact date for this guide is. I place it somewhere between 1946 and 1952, definitely not later than that. However, it still is not correct even for those dates because the B17 is incorrect. Assuming the routing it shows was once correct, I can't imagine why it would have operated to E 80 Street, unless there was a small community there. By 1936 the B17 had already been extended to Eastern Parkway using Utica Avenue in both directions, turning at Schenectady and Eastern Parkway. In 1936, the route was changed to use Schenectady southbound to Empire Blvd. By around 1955, it was changed to use Troy northbound and Utica southbound. However the guide can't be from the 1930s because it incorporates other changes from the 1940s.

I also never knew about the B64 going to Shore Road.

It's amazing to see all the small changes to the bus routes that occurred between 1930 and 1950. Changes seem to occur less frequently now except for the recent service cuts. I also wonder about the missing bus numbers like. B73, B76, B78, B79, B80 and B81. I know 78, 80, and 81 were reused later, but I wonder where the original numbers went.
