We really shouldn’t be allowing transit agencies to waste money on unnecessary plastic crap like this during one of the worst financial and fiscal crises our country has faced. People would get where they’re going with a basic DE40LFR.I remember the first time I rode one of WMATA's then brand new NABI 60BRTs on the U8. At least one person on the street watched our bus as we passed by. The new scheme and design grabbed the people's attention. Why can't buses grab people's attention like the lovely designs found on LRT? There has to be a balance or people will just not notice bus transit anymore. |
