Maybe so, but until public officials receive massive complaints from the public, they rarely act. I'm not saying that is right, but that's how it is. In this case, he was not made aware beforehand by his consitutents, because they were unaware. I've never seen a public official take the lead in anything. They don't want to stick their neck out until they know they have support. |
