There is no express bus route that needs articulated buses in NYC.None. I can count the ones that actually fill 57 seat buses on my fingers. A suburbanized articulated bus is around $850,000. An MCI is now $550,000-600,000. You gain at most 8 seats on an articulated platform. There is no need to spend $250,000 for 8 seats. |
