Well if you are going to make that point, why not run artics on the more heavily used lines then? Then you can save on costs for the need to pay more drivers to drive the same amount of people?Plus they don't run D4500s on he local routes. Maybe with the C40LF they can run it on a local line, maximizing the use of the bus than to have it deadhead or remain in Manhattan till it's time to take people home for the PM rush. |
