Routes affected in Manhattan:

M1: Overnight service discontinued 1 AM to 5 AM, seven days a week. Weekend service discontinued south of 106 Street. Service south of Greenwich Village is discontinued. Route through midtown to match the M2 route. See also M3 and M5.
M3: University Place service discontinued.
M5: Extended to South Ferry along M6 route south of Greenwich Village.
M6: Merged into M5.
M8: Overnight and weekend service discontinued.
M9: Service along Water Street and 14th Street eliminated. New north terminus is Manhattan VA Hospital, and new south terminus is City Hall. In addition, service in Alphabet City rerouted from Avenue B to Avenue C to replace M21 service.
M10: Service south of Columbus Circle discontinued.
M15: Service to City Hall discontinued. See also M9 and M20.
M16: Overnight service discontinued 1 AM to 5 AM, seven days a week.
M18: Service discontinued.
M20: Service extended to South Ferry terminal.
M21: Weekend service discontinued. In addition, service rerouted along Houston Street, river-to-river. See also M9.
M22: Weekend service discontinued. In addition, service along Chambers Street discontinued.
M27: Service discontinued.
M30: Service discontinued.
M42: Service to Jacob J. Javits Center discontinued.
M50: Overnight and weekend service discontinued.
M66: Overnight service discontinued 1 AM to 5 AM, seven days a week.
M98: Direct service into George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal discontinued. Service south of Hunter College discontinued.
M104: Service along 42 Street discontinued.
X90: Service discontinued.
