From Transitalk.info's Rosters (MTA Bus included):1981-82 GMC Model T8W-204 "RTS-04" #7000-7049 (9 In Service) Notes: All of these buses were in-house remanufactured by the MTA Department of Buses between 1996 and 1998 as part of a program to see if they could reduce the cost of purchasing new buses against rebuilding older buses. 1985 GMC Model T8J-204 "RTS-04" #3800-4218 (1 In Service) 1987-88 TMC Model T80-206 "RTS-06" #4600-4899 (26 In Service) Notes:These buses are a hybrid of sorts, built in part by GMC and then by TMC. #4873-4888 feature American Seating Model 6566 Suburban Seats, some are upholstered while others use a vinyl material. #4854-4859 and 4889-4899 feature 2x2 style seating arrangements. 1990-91 TMC Model T80-206 "RTS-06" #8000-8396, 8400 (302 In Service) Notes: #8400 is now operated by the New York Police Department and has been renumbered to #9598. A good portion of this fleet has had its Detroit Diesel 6V92TA DDEC engines replaced with new Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR engines. 1993 BIA Orion 05.501 #101-316 (216 In Service) Notes: #101-145 and 147-172 feature American Seating Model 2005 High-back Recliner Seats with raised platforms. #146 have been re-seated with American Seating Model 6468 "Standard" Transit Seats but have retained thier raised platforms. All buses have had its orignal engines replaced with new Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR engines. #295-297 and 299-300 were originally delivered with Cummins C8.3, while #290-294 were delivered with Detroit Diesel Series 50 engines. The Cummins powered units have also be repowered with Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR engines. 1993 TMC Model T80-206 "RTS-06" #8401-8564 (164 In Service) Notes: All buses have had its Detroit Diesel 6V92TA DDEC engines replaced with new Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR engines. 1994 BIA Orion 05.501 #317, 400-401 (2 In Service) Notes: #317 is Compressed Natural Gas powered. 1994 TMC Model T80-206 "RTS-06" #8565-8566, 8600-8703, 9700-9795 (202 In Service) Notes: #8565-8566 were the first two RTS buses delivered with DDC Series 50 Engines. All but #8565-8566 feature the Luminator "SMART" Lighting system. #9700-9795 are Ex-Queens Surface buses. #9745-9795 feature American Seating Model 6468 Transit Seats with padded upholstery inserts. 1995 OBI Orion 05.501 #402-630 (197 In Service) Notes: #581-630 are Compressed Natural Gas powered. #611-630 feature American Seating Model 2005 High-back Recliner Seats with raised platforms. 1995 NovaBUS Model T80-206 "RTS-06" #8750-8751 (2 In Service) 1996 New Flyer D60HF Articulated #1000-1001 (2 In Service) 1996 OBI Orion 05.501 #631-680 (50 In Service) 1996-97 NovaBUS Model T80-206 "RTS-06" #8752-9349 (597 In Service) Note: #9140-9149 feature Cummins M-11E CELECT engines while the rest of the fleet is powered by Detroit Diesel's Series 50 DDEC engine. #9260-9272 and 9274-9349 feature American Seating Model 2005 High-back Recliner Seats with raised platforms. #9250-9259 and 9273 have been re-seated with American Seating Model 6468 "Standard" Transit Seats but have retained thier raised platforms. 1997 New Flyer D60HF Articulated #1002-1069 (68 In Service) 1997-98 NovaBUS Model T80-206 "RTS-06" #4901, 9350-9655, 9657-9699 (350 In Service) Notes: #4901, 9350 and 9352-9524 feature American Seating Model 6468 Transit Seats with Cut Resistant (CR-50TM) upholstery inserts while the rest of the fleet have Fiberglass inserts. These are the first buses in the MTA fleet to feature the new Transmatic L-20 Lighting system. 1998 New Flyer C40LF Low Floor CNG #801 (1 In Service) 1998 New Flyer D60HF Articulated #1070-1109 (40 In Service) 1998 OBI Orion 05.501 #6000, 8568-8581, 9932-9999 (83 In Service) Notes: #8568-8581 and 9932-9999 feature American Seating Model 6566 Suburban Seats and are Compressed Natural Gas Powered. 1999 New Flyer D45SHF ITV #996-998 (3 In Service) Notes: Originally Houston METRO #4804-4806. 1999 New Flyer D60HF Articulated #5250-5251 (2 In Service) Notes: Originally #1110-1111. 1999 OBI Orion 05.501 #6001-6349, 9827-9899, 9901-9931 (349 In Service) Notes: #9827-9899 and 9901-9931 are Compressed Natural Gas Powered. #9835 and 9868 feature John Deer Model 6081 CNG Engines. 1999 NovaBUS Model T80-206 "RTS-06" #4900, 4902-5249, 9656 (350 In Service) Notes: #5075-5124 feature ZF ECOMAT Transmissions while the rest of the fleet feature Allison V ATEC Transmissions. Also some of the fleet features Twin Vision LED Flip-dot signs while the rest of the fleet features Luminator LED Flip-dot signs. 1999-2000 New Flyer C40LF Low Floor CNG #800, 802-989 (189 In Service) 2000 New Flyer D60HF Articulated #5253-5509 (257 In Service) Notes: #5407 has been totally remanufactured to resemble and to act as a demonstrator for the 2002-03 D60HF order.
