I recall those "flat front" Nova's with the wide front doors. Around that time, N.J.T. was placing another order of Nova's and I tried to convince Maureen Milan to go with that improved design. We argued, but she insisted that the frames were weak and defective in the front. She claimed to have knowledge that the MBTA in Boston and the TTC in Toronto both had problems with them. So, we got "stuck" with yet another batch of the "shit" variety of Nova's. I was not happy about it. |
