The 45C-LFW (Metro 45C) was a complete surprise to me. I did not expect that they would have one ready so fast (I thought they would not have them ready until next year). I also expected that since the bus had been out of production they would redesign it but I guess I was wrong. The only things that appear different are the LED lights, the interior LED signs, and the ad racks in the front section of the bus. Also it seems that the 45C has the "old" seat design while the 42-BRT has the "new" seat design.Im glad that NABI brought back the 45ft CompoBus. I too was suprised they had one made up quickly. I did check out the powertrain compartment, and it sure had its Cummins ISL-G engine inside. I believe the TransitTVs are installed in house at LACMTA. |
