Posted by The Flxible Neofan on Wed Oct 8 01:51:29 2008, in response to Re: Suffolk Transit Bus Study Workshop, posted by Mac5689 on Mon Oct 6 21:04:07 2008. so how are the county surpose to get the drivers, veterans or new ones to come in on sundays, be away for their famlies for four to five hours, just so they can drive a bus that may not have passengers that day, just so they can be like everyone else and have sunday service that ur not even totally sure no one would use.Don't they pay those drivers, dispatchers and maintenance people? At least offer it on busy routes for an experimental period. If DART First State thought so negatively as you did in this post, Wilmington, DE would still be without Sunday service... |
