Posted by Mac5689 on Mon Oct 6 21:04:07 2008, in response to Re: Suffolk Transit Bus Study Workshop, posted by The TransitMan on Sun Oct 5 20:39:00 2008. but the county doesn't hire the drivers. so how are the county surpose to get the drivers, veterans or new ones to come in on sundays, be away for their famlies for four to five hours, just so they can drive a bus that may not have passengers that day, just so they can be like everyone else and have sunday service that ur not even totally sure no one would use. and add more money that u don't have to a budget that doesn't have room for it. and u also for got about the dispatchers and mantince personal that would have to work too. you just can't go from not having sunday service to having it. |
