Posted by Scrabbleship on Thu Aug 14 07:26:23 2008, in response to Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is purchasing up to 900 low floor articulated electric hybrid buses, posted by gold_12th on Thu Aug 14 03:41:23 2008. After the 60-LFW debacle, I'm surprised that the CTA is still wanting to consider NABI for an order. Is the 60-BRT that good or is the CTA that wanting of a low-floor artic that they'd be willing to risk being burned again? How well are CTA's 40' LFS's holding up and are they well-liked? If the bids are close, that could be a tiebreaker especially since the LFS has improved since the CTA got theirs. |
