Because those with the $$$ do not want it. The people, in general, who will be riding these buses would be people of generally foreign birth going to low paying factory and houskeeping jobs. Many in the upscale communities do not want "those people" possibly getting off in their towns. A group of people in one wealthier community on Long Island went ape when Sears decided to move into a vacant building in their town because they did not want "those people" in "their [town deleted]" |
