They're not taking seats out of the trains, they're discussing the possibility of taking seats out of some cars on certain trains. The whole exercise looks to me to be setting the CTA up for adopting longitudinal seating. I stand by my position, I'd rather have an all-standee car and be able to get on the first train that arrives than wait two or three trains before I get the off chance of squeezing on, let alone getting a seat. |
