Dude..in NEW YORK..ANYTHING is possible..In a negative way too. You have to admit. How long is it taking to build a short Second Ave. subway? You can't do it without the necessary money. The eastern half of Tokyo's central area is on landfill. Some of which are on garbage landfill (and I would personally never want to live there). There are no places on earth other than the Greater Tokyo area where river flows were so altered by human force in the 18th to 20th century, with only the Netherlands following far behind. (Sort of what was done in the Marble Hill area but in a much grandiose scale) I love all the cities I lived or commuted to in my life, which are Paris, Tokyo, London and New York but sometimes you've got to face reality over your fantasies, hopes and illusions. |

In the G's case, it's more like the quality of that meal got even more shitty when the restaurant changed personnel. The G/GG was much more of a crosstown train before it got cut back to Court Square 24/7. Now, it's a glorified Brooklyn shuttle train with a couple stops in Queens. |

But that was back in the 90s, when the G ran to/from Forest Hills on weekdays. It was much easier to make connections (subway and bus) to/from the G back then. |

The same overcrowded E, L and 7 trains and SRO M train that already have enough trouble dealing with their current ridership? The G doesn't necesssarily HAVE to be a direct link between Brooklyn and Queens, especially now that everyone who wants to go further than Court Square MUST transfer. |
