Posted by Newkirk Plaza David on Thu Sep 2 10:43:28 2010 The MTA Insider posted a Tweet (and I suspect it's posted on their Facebook page) about the Jets-Patriots game tonight wich "kicks off football season tonight".How dumb can the MTA get? Football season starts for real a week later, on Sept. 9th when the Saints start their title defense on a Thursday night game. |

Exactly, the Jets were playing the Eagles, not the Patriots. The MTA really said the Jets Patriots? Wow.In any event, I think both NY teams were pretty happy with the results of their fellow NY teams, as both the Jets and the Giants beat eachother's arch rivals, and with similar scores. Any team that beats the patriots is okay in my book.... |
