How could that have happened. 5: The policeman on the bottom pic isn't harassing people for taking photographs, as in real life. |

The passengers sitting in the windows beneath the car number board (7774) appear to be sitting in longitudinal seats, which LIRR M7s do not have.Also, EVERY person in the pic is white. While it is possible to ride a LIRR train in which the only person of color aboard is a member of the crew, it's still an interesting omission for the MTA, which prides itself on its own diversity and the diversity of the area it serves. |

With digital technology increasing, it won't be long before people will say "Film? What's that?" Technology is moving so fast that many transit employees won't even know what a brake handle or even a reverser is. A number of relative old timers I know with the TA have never seen an R-9 or know what a brake plug is. Only the few lucky ones who are museum qualified will know such things. |
