Posted by TheCiskoKid on Tue Aug 31 17:57:33 2010 Like the LIRR needed any more headaches this week, it appears that a crane car had the poor taste to derail somewhere between Hicksville and Syosset. Port Jeff and Huntington service is jacked up again. |

In addition, the 5:06 PM train from NY due in Huntington at 6:07 PM is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 5:17 PM train from NY due in Huntington at 6:21 PM, which will make all combined stops. The 5:29 PM train from Atlantic Terminal to Huntington is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 5:35 PM train from Atlantic Terminal to West Hempstead. Customers will change at Jamaica for the 5:56 PM train to Hicksville and the 6:07 PM train to Port Jefferson. The 5:46 PM train from NY due in Huntington at 6:51 PM is canceled. Customers will be accommodated by the 6:01 PM train from NY due in Hicksville at 6:45 PM, which will make all combined stops. |

Customers will be accommodated by the 5:35 PM train from Atlantic Terminal to West Hempstead, which will be rerouted to Huntington making the stops of the 5:35. Both passengers who go to West Hempstead should share a taxi from Jamaica and send us the receipt. |
