On the left is a parking lot, with the other side of Farragut Rd. dead-ending slightly to the east of the lot next to the corner of the picture. The city's LION street files show a normal street segment connecting the two parts of Farragut Rd, even though that never existed.Bob |

LION remembers it as a kid (Me thinks it was had operated), but I can no longer see any trace of where it might have been. Mind you it has been more than 45 years since then, but gee, wee *should* know where it was.

The last north/south street showing in the northeast corner of the photo is E. 104th St. Go one block further east and extend that line to the north to where it crosses the ROW. That is where the grade crossing was. It was replaced in the late 1960's by the current overhead station entrance.Bob |
