FIND!

Hmm...this is worded a bit differently than it is on the (E).

The (E) still has Grand Avenue - Newton.

The (A) announcements have been changed, not that you'll be hearing them any time soon. They're still Dianne Thompson, but the borough identifications have been corrected. When the R-160s were in their initial testing phase on the (A), they always skipped a borough, announcing "This is a Queens-bound (A) express train" in Manhattan, and "This is a Far Rockaway - Mott Avenue-bound (A) express train" in Brooklyn and Queens. Broadway - Nassau Street is now announced as "Broadway - Nassau".

The (D) has a program to run to Far Rockaway, and most of the stops are voiced by Catherine Cowerdy, meaning she and Dianne Thompson recorded a lot of the same stuff, not including the stations that Cowerdy herself recorded three times. A few Thompson stations are included, but most were from Cowerdy.

It's really interesting how some announcements show up randomly from another voice. The (F) is practically exclusively Thompson, except for Cowerdy announcing the Q3 at Jamaica - 179 Street. But if you send the (F) up the West End Line, "This is a Manhattan-bound (F) train, via the (D) line" is voiced by Cowerdy, as is "This is a Queens-bound (F) train, via the (D) line" at Grand Street.

The (Q) still has programs for the Second Avenue extension, with possible terminals at East Side - 96 Street and 72 Street.

Although the (M) is now orange on the FIND LCD screens, it remains brown on the TOD screen.

I've heard the Thompson/Cowdery tag team at Roosevelt.

DT: This is… Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue.
CC: Transfer is available to the 7, E, M, and R trains, and the Q33 and Q47 buses to LaGuardia Airport.

I remember hearing a similar tag team announcement, but with the roles reversed, on the M train.

CC: This is… Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street.
DT: Transfer is available to the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, and R trains.
CC: Connection is available to the Long Island Rail Road.

I seem to remember hearing DT at Fulton Street on the (J)(M) and (Z), also, and doing a tag-team at Sutphin Boulevard - Archer Avenue.

Thompson/Cowdery tag team is also on the F @ Lexington Avenue-63rd Street (if its the same announcement) and @ 14th Street. There were times on the F where Thompson also made the transfer announcements @ Lexington Avenue-63rd Street and Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue. Also on the J @ Canal Street on the weekends and the J via M line to/from Prospect Park!

There's a correction I need to make. I meant to say was there are some F trains where Thompson made the transfer announcements @ Lexington Avenue-63rd Street and Cowdery made the transfer announcements @ Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue!

They did a good job with transfer updates for the new program. Hopefully, M to 57/6 (and perhaps Queensbridge) will be added to the next round of updates. Unfortunately, it seems that there are no announcements for a good number of GOs which include that, as well as the J to MET, 2 to SF among others.

There are also still a few things which need to be ironed out with the transfers. The R still displays some of the old transfer and the J is sometimes displaying the M at Chambers. There are probably others too. Needless to say, I don't believe any R-142s stripmaps have been replaced yet.

There's also a tag team at Kew Gardens - Union Turnpike on the (E).

CC: This is Kew Gardens - Union Turnpike. Transfer is available to the (F) train.

DT: Transfer is available to THEEE Q10 bus to JFK Airport.
