I think that the St Louis one is correctly MetroLink with a capital "L". But point taken. I do tend to assume WMATA, but I still look to be sure if it's not clear. I actually thought that it might be LACMTA even though they have phased out metrorail and metrobus in favor of "Metro". |

My first thought was WMATA's Metrorail, rather than Miami's (which is why I call WMATA's Metrorail and Metrobus systems WMATArail and WMATAbus respectively.) I'm relieved it's not the former; I have a lot of photos I need to grab of Metrorail. |

They maybe following a directive that is contradiction of the law. I saw that a lot in the NYPD and currently as an MTA employee, but that doesn't make me stupid, just following orders. Still that should have been handled better by the security guards. When I was an NYPD Aux. I didn't care if I was recorded, I had nothing to hide and if I followed orders and directives. Personally I would obtain guidance from a supervisor if I was in doubt. However the person who responded was from the Metro-Dade DHS bureau and should have the knowledge of the laws and rules pertaining to this situation. Based of seeing the entire video, they clearly stated that it was not for commercial purposes. I hope they are successful in stopping this form of harassment, which it clearly was especially from the security guards. They at least, were unprofessional and at worst incompetent. |
