"Red" rules!! :-DNothing special, just a beautiful day, and me finishing up knockin' myself out on my last day free (from work) day of railfanning!! The next day (Today!!! :-D), back to being a railroader!! Westbound......  Sssssssssmoky!!!! :-D  Uh on!! That don't look good!!  Just smokin' on off!!  "Bridging" the gap!! Bridgeplates over Track 4 (locals on Track 2, bridgeplates set up for first & third cars, same thing today as well!!)  Express blasts by the plates!! (Interesting visor!! "What if seeing eachother again changed"... :- /)   We change the vantage point to the overpass, were we see the local spot up for the bridgeplates (1st and 3rd open cars normally, but the conductor on this train chose the last car and thrid to last car to spot.....rather odd!! I did my first and third open cars today, and went silky smooth!!) And do forgive the reflection of my hand holding the camera!!  Conductor sizes things up!!  Bad trainmen!! (:-D) Rear trainman in position!! Front trainman....tsk tsk tsk!! :-D So hard to find good help these days!! :-D LOL (Kidding!! :-))  Now the front trainman gets it together!!! :-D Good trainman!! X-D Many off.....  Only one on.....  All set, and on their way!! Mamaroneck NEXT!!......  Next westbound comes......  Arrives.....  Departs!! New Rooooooo-chelle NEXT!!......  And finally the next express roars east!!.....   Thank you all for viewing!! Hope you all, once again, have enjoyed!! :-) |

Well, if the first pair or more, depending on the size of the consist, is closed (deadheads), an on-point conductor or crew memeber must be able to properly assist in spotting the designated doors or vestibules on the appropriate bridgeplates. Today, we left EVERY station (Larchmont, Mamaroneck and Harrison were affected) on time and hit every bridgeplate on the designated doors on the money!! Again, an on-point conductor must be there to assist the engineer in giving a good spot. |
